Why all the panic?

We sucked last year. It's not like Fran was going to come in and immediately have an impact on this squad in terms of wins and losses. I certainly didn't want Fuller to leave but I'm not exactly heart broken either. If anyone expects us to win right away in the Big10 then they don't know much about the Big10 and our roster in general.

Larson, who is he anyway? Another 3 star kid that appears to have personal issues that we have never seen play in a college game. The kid could be the next 1st teamer or he could end up like Sondi.

All of the departures mean nothing more than Fran will have the opportunity to put his fingerprint on the team. For better or worse, this is the coach that we have and I will support him until he proves otherwise.

Only a few are panicked but unfortunately they seem to have the loudest and most annoying voices right now. The small group of panicked fans are the Fran Drescher of Hawkeyenation.

Agree!! BTW, apparently all these Lick guys leaving is because Chad Walthall isn't going to be retained. Fine by me.

FYI, assistant coach Andrew Francis was involved with the recruiting of Scottie Reynolds and Corey Fisher while at Villanova. Oh and he has been around the likes of talent of Allan Ray, Randy Foye and Kyle Lowry! Still wish Chad Walthall was assistant coach???

I think we need to be a bit more positive in our posts here. IMO, all the negativity doesnt put forth a very good vibe for incoming or possible recruits. I do wish we could have kept all the players but it wasnt meant to be. I am sure that Coach will find good players to fill the spots and I also think we will be a better than .500 team next year. Go Hawks!!
