Would you suspend your two starting offensive tackles for an opening game against an opponent that has an upset history in first games. Once that happens...we will know your "standards".

there were ISU Alerts sent out Thurs night thru their campus security system .... "four black males, at least 2 had a gun, one gun appeared to be a rifle........" All clear given an hour later. Probably a coincidence

They looked pretty real, especially if it was in the dark. One even had a laser sight. I would say these 4 are lucky the suspension is all they got and not a trigger happy deputy.

The press release or whatever it was stated “multiple incidents”. I will go ahead and give ISU the benefit of the doubt and assume they are trying to send a message to those kids. However, I will admit on the surface it does seem reactionary to what is going on at Iowa and college athletics in general.

I guess one could argue that is a good thing.
