Throwing out prestige of bowl games and such, just strictly talking head to head match-up right now, who would you most want to see Iowa play?
 
Alabama for sure. LSU would be good too, or TCU/Boise. Arkansas and Stanford are alright matchups, not great, not bad. Florida is just awful.
 
Bama. Impossible to take the prestige factor out of it; the entire college football reporting community has a hardon for the Tide. Beating them in a January bowl game would do wonders for our program from a respect standpoint.
 
I went Stanford, I like B10-P10 match ups...we've been beating up SEC and other east coast teams in bowls for the past few years now so I'm up for something different. Really anything besides the mid-major teams as that game is always a NO-Win situation.
 
Bama. Ruin Saban's last CFB game at an SEC school before he heads off to the pros. Again.
 
I voted for Bama just out of principle. However I would also be intriged by a game with Stanford, I think the Hawks beat them.
I also would like a matchup with Boise strictly to beat the pants off of them. I understand the whole lose/lose situation. But I really think someone needs to beat them bad in a bowl game and let them know they really don't belong and it would be great if it was the Hawks.
 
Bama for sure, although would be a boring game we still owe Florida another a$$ whooping! (05)
 
I think Boise would give the Hawks some major challenges, but I would love to see the Hawks beat Boise.

I'd love to get payback, I really would. But I'd rather wait to p*ss on them when they're actually good. It won't say anything to the nation if we were to beat them this year, and beating an average (at best) Gators team won't satisfy my lust for revenge.

Althought I picked Stanford I totally agree with the respect aspect. That would probably create the most pub for our program and would just be huge! That or beating the SEC champ that makes it to the NC. Still wouldn't get the respect we deserve though.
 
I want another shot at Western Michigan. Do we have a shot at the Motor City Bowl against a MAC team if we lose out?
