Love the hiring of Speraw.Will Horner in fact become the Grad Assistant or will Coach go with another former Hawk?Would Settles actually be interested in a coaching spot?If coach can somehow manage to get a PG for next year and then land C. Randle to start next year's class, I think he will be off to a remarkable start. Hate to see the loss of Larson and Brust, but if we get a couple more athletes, I think we will be fine.I am turning the corner to actually being excited again about the BB program's future.

I am hoping there was a little fuel behind the Horner fire a week ago. He is the guy I am hoping gets the GA spot.
I am doubtful the Davis would take the 3rd spot and am now leaning toward Ryan Bowan as the other assistant.

I would love to add Ryan Bowen to this staff. I think he'd be a great choice. He is an Iowa kid, NBA pedigree, solid person. One thing that I think people overlook is that the kids have to be coached. Yes, assistant coaches need to be able to recruit, and I'm sure Ryan can do this, but once the kids get on campus, they need to be taught how to play the game. Also, we've already seen that Coach Caff will hit the pavement (and airways) to see kids on his own. Ryan will be an excellent coach to work with our bigs/posts.
