I'm curious here. Does Fran only believe in one? Should it be Gesell, simply because the team QB makes a logical choice for captain? What about Uthoff? Would Fran anoint him in an attempt to get another Aaron White-type season? Even with Woodbury and Clemmons, I think it has to be one or both of these two. Has Fran already talked about this? Thoughts?

I don't see Uthoff or Woody as "leader" types where they are out yelling at guys and calling plays. Maybe someone like Clemmons? He seems well liked but is also a little quiet. It's not like we have any juniors who could step up and take on captain roll, as we only have Jok, and he doesn't speak much and has been in trouble quite a bit. Perhaps Gessel by default? Leadership will be a big question mark on this team. We don't have any Horner/Gatens types on this squad.

Woody never stops barking out orders to his team mates and pretty much runs the defense when he's on the floor. Not saying it should be him or that it will be him, but if you've watched a game live this season, Woody is one of the more vocal players on and off the court we have.
