Yes. They do. Do you actually think that the shooting percentages would be anything less than 90% if they didn't play defense? EVERY guy in the league shoots a very high percentage when allowed to get to his favorite spot. Defense is the art of NOT letting them do what they want. Typically defense has little to do with blocked shots and steals and a lot more to do with forcing the opponent to do things he's not comfortable with.

Sorry for my opinion but there is a very slim chance that Tyler Cook makes it in the NBA. How many Hawkeyes have made the league in the last ten years? None i can think of. If you think he is going to get a go notice from the NBA after his Junior year I think your wrong. I hope he proves me wrong this year and he creates a buzz but I don't see it.

It depends what your definition of make the NBA is. Marble and Uthoff have both recorded stats in NBA games in the last 3 years. White got drafted. Jok is currently in the G-League.

As far as Cook goes I agree in that I doubt he will ever make the NBA and by make it I mean stick with a team. I just feel after his junior year he will probably give it a shot.
