Who voted our Offensive line the best?

Yes our wide receivers are not good and yea Bethard was not good (he just looked hurt and slow) and yes our offensive coaches have to go but I still cant believe anyone thinks we had the best offensive line in the country? We had 1000 yard rushers but much of that was because our running backs especially Wadley made a lot of yards on the own.
But Bethard took a beating trying to throw the ball. I thought our pass blocking was a big part of our ineptness in the pass game OK Davis and his schemes still at the top of the inept list

You ever seen the movie, "The Russians are Coming, The Russians are Coming"? If not, it's hysterically funny. I've come to the conclusion that the O line is actually pretty good. It's just that the rest of the offense, except for Wadley is a complete joike, just line the townspeople going against a Soviet submarine. The scene where the locals storm the airport most seem to other teams what our offense looks like.

Here is the trailer for the movie. It is indicative of our program.

The fact that we had two 1000 yard backs says it all. The line had to deal with teams knowing exactly what play was coming every snap thanks to having zero passing game combined with the mastermind Greg Davis. When you can still have that kind of rushing output against teams stacking the box every down its pretty good. Now pass blocking on the other hand....

This makes me think that the votes got spread out very widely. It would be interesting to see the vote totals.

Hmmm. It also says, "The voting requires review of actual game film from each of the Finalists." Hard to believe that "all current o-line coaches" are watching film of the finalists during bowl prep. Seems likely that there were quite a few anti-Alabama and anti-Ohio State votes that opened the door for this award.
