WHO Soundoff?

Jon- I know you resigned from WHO, but is there a possibility of you and Zabel doing Soundoff again this year? It's a big part of the gameday experience for many Hawkeye fans. Maybe you could include Deace somehow.

Also hope Jon is involved with Soundoff again this year, but I would rather keep Deace as far away from a show that is strictly Hawkeye related as possible.
 


Keep Deace away? Why? In my opinion he has no peer when it comes to commenting on and analyzing college football. Did you see his 2011 preview? Impressive stuff!!

Are you referring to the same Deace that predicted, in his 2008 preview, that KF would be fired that year, or concluding that year?

Are you referring to the same Deace that predicted that KF would not be Iowa's coach this year at the end of one of his final shows on WHO?

Yeah, he is a real gem. Must-have analysis.

I'm guessing both of these guys burnt their bridges with WHO with their big jump to internet radio.
 


When I resigned both sides expressed an interest in my continued involvement with Soundoff, as Jim and I have done the program together for seven years.

I left on good terms with management and still consider everyone there a friend.

I believe there is a chance this can happen. Should know more in the next two weeks.

Yeah I saw it, I would just rather not get my Hawkeye postgame information and opinions from a huge Michigan fan and someone who used to run a Cyclone website.
 


And I would rather get my postgame information from people who know what they're talking about. Jon and Steve talking college football is as good as it gets.

Whats wrong with Zabel and Jon? Seems to have been working fine for the past 7 years. If it aint broke, dont fix it.
 


Listening to soundoff and "Tommy From Des Moines" calling in on the 2 hour drive home after a game is one of the best parts of the gameday experience. Here's to hoping it continues Jon!
 


I'm not suggesting they should get rid of Zabel. The man's a WHO icon and gets to decide on his own when it's time to retire ala Joe Paterno at Penn State. I just think the show would be better with Deace.
 












Soundoff is a must...huge part of me making the 5 hour drive home. Would really miss Jon and Jim together.
