Who is the biggest surprise this weekend vs Zona?

Which player impacts the game "out of the blue" or at least alittle surprising?

My guess is two people - Brad Herman will have about 5 catches for 40 yrds and a TD and K Davis has 3 catches for 36 yards and a TD.

What is your prediction????

In all seriousness though I think we will see some big play from Nielsen/Tarpinian. Although this may not be considered a big suprise but I feel like Jewel Hampton is going to EXPLODE.

I agree with Hawkiam.
Could be a big defensive weekend for Tarp, dropping back into coverage or chasing running backs laterally.

The usual "suspects" on our D should be pretty good, too.

I'm hoping for some special teams play to add to a strong offensive and defensive performance.

I'm going with Brad Herman also. 4 catches for 60ish yards, 1 td, and 3-4 massive blocks that spring Hampton/Robinson for big gains.

First, I see a big week for Jewel. His struggles last week were mostly mental, as he was hungry to make the big play and always looking for a cutback lane that usually wasn't there yet. I think if he watches the film closely, he'll be a bit more patient this week.

I also see a breakout game for Reisner. We know and love him, but he's not well known by the rest of the country. 6 catches, 2 TDs.

But the BIGGEST breakout performer this week will be Riley Reiff. This game was his coming out party last year, and I think he'll be the key to several big runs and at least a couple deep balls.

I think DJK gets a big special teams return. Im expecting another big game from Tarp. I bet sash gets his first INT on the year. I think Hampton and Robinson reverse stats from last week. I also think Clayborn will run down grigsby in the backfield like last year.

These are lofty expectations and some may not come true, but it would be great if they did! Go Hawks

Tarp hands down. Arizona likes to throw quick passes in the areas where Iowa's LBs typically work. Look for him to have 10 tackles, three broken up passes and a pick... or more.

He'll earn B10 player of the week honors.

Sash yes, Greenwood got his against the clowns.

I think it will be Binns. Got back in the mix last Saturday against ISU. It seems like Foles has a somewhat long delivery that will allow Binns to get his big mitts on at least a couple passes.

Remember he led the team in passes defensed last year I think. If he did not lead he was pretty darn close. Impressive for a d-lineman.

Binns has 3 passes defensed and 1 of those will result in an INT and he gets a sack too.

I'll take my chances on Hyde. I bet he sees a lot of balls thrown his way and he benefits from it.
