What W from this season is looked upon as a solid victory? Michigan is no good, Penn State is not good and losses to NW and a now much worse Arizona team.

Im curious.

sounds like you have it figured out, i dont really consider any win a bad win, EIU, ISU, Ball State, PSU, UM, MSU, and IU were all "good" wins in my opinion maybe not impressive, but i liked them

Any win that gets us to 7 wins is awesome to me. We could be wallowing in our own sh1t like Texas wondering what our "quality" win is; or better yet hoping we get to go to a bowl.... DaBears your life sucks if you do not like ANY Win where we get to sing "In heaven there is no beer...." come back down to earth

so we go from national title hopes to thinking 7 wins is 'awesome'? Sorry, but this season has been a disappointment.

No if you actually read me post you will see I said ME! It's ok to be dissapointed but this season is far from unsuccessful. The National Title was a pipe dream, but it is disappointing that we didn't compete for the Big10 Championship. You need to look at history and see 8 wins is the norm for Iowa. To avoid not enjoying games you should always expect that! But you have tunnel vision and absolutely no experience in football (I can tell by your ignorance). Understand Iowa and the macro, that is it. If KF decided to major in the minor then we wouldn't be where we as today....

If we would have beat AZ and NW, would that improve our quality wins? Would you say we are world beaters? There is a lot of parity in the Big 10 and college football in general. Who is Oregon beat besides Stanford?

missed out on our marquis win. also found out NW isnt any good losing to Illinois and MSU should have lost despite scoring 22 points in the 4th.

Can't you make your point w/o being a condescending pr*ck? I mean seriously, you're the pompous d-bag that sparked a 1000+ post thread, yet haven't changed your approach. Still waiting on your credentials.

MSU is really damn good.
PSU is a good, not great team but they are a much tougher "out" now.
MICHIGAN is a good team at home, winning in Ann Arbor is always a feat.

The other 4 wins are against bad teams.

all wins are good. you can ask this question to about 20 of the top 25 teams. We are roughly 5-10 plays away from having about 3 more wins. If we were 10-1 you could likely ask the same thing.

I'm really glad we Penn State out of the way. They're starting to click with McGloin.
