Me! Congrats to Iowa on the great performance today. This win will always be recognized for it's greatness in the history of Iowa basketball!
 
Clone fan will soon tell us how UAB was a much tougher opponent and Bowlsby set iowa up for the easy game.

I believe you. You may be more optimistic than I am. And I had Iowa beating ISU in football and basketball the last few years (post lick years in BB).

The ISU fans I was watching the game with yesterday kept ******** about the refs. How could anyone in their right mind think that the Big 12 would be out to get ISU?
 
What time is the Iowa State game tomorrow guys? I just like to support all my in state teams!

I understand what you mean, but I am not saying anything to be mean to ISU fans. It feels good to be the, at least, perceived team with the better season. ISU fan that read it and get mad is just a bonus. The reasonable ones won't care too much.

You need to ask yourself what about ISU has anything to do with Iowa right now. Then be honest with yourself about why you felt inclined to post somthing about a team that at this moment in history has nothing to do with Iowa hawkeye basketball. NOTHING. But yet you feel inclined to mention them (ISU) as the subject of your post. Ask yourself, does Iowa state occupy your thoughts more than you are willing to admit? They are no longer In the tourney, they're gone, what's the obsession? Go see a shrink. And GO HAWks!

I hear about it on just about any media outlet. I believe it is only natural for you to measure your team against their peers. Iowa is, in my opinion, finishing better than ISU. It is not directly about ISU, but I think it's near sighted for a fan in the state of Iowa to not see the comparisons. Does it occupy my time more than I'd like? Yes. That being said, I didn't say anything negatively nor will I say anything negatively about ISU.

I feel good, because for the next 6 months I won't have to hear from ISU fans about how much better they are than Iowa. For me that is worth talking about when it is relevant, which it is, in the state of Iowa. I guess I don't understand why you think there is no relevance. You will hear the comparison of Iowa to ISU regardless of year and sport. Two of my three brackets I had Iowa going as far or further than ISU.

I did, Iowa to win the first 3 games, but Fu@% Duke anyhow, why do we "always" get put in their region. As for the ISU stuff, The one that got me was the team or coaches had their thoughts on the AD having heart surgery!
