White Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

Wisconsin is considered a good 3 pt shooting team and look out how that turned out.
getting the shots and making them are 2 different things

I hate agreeing with this Northwestern troll but he is right. Penn State missed some wide open looks on the perimeter and if you give NW those kind of looks it will be a long/painful game to watch.

True, but it was obvious that our perimeter defense was playing to the scout of Penn State being an absolutely horrible shooting team. We were giving a larger cushion than we have against any other team (yeah, including Indiana...) in league.

The exciting thing about Thursday is the longer layoff. Very important to have a long scout and a lot of preparation for NW. This is possibly the worst team in the B1G to play on short notice. Early in the game I expect us to really guard the 3. Can we sustain for the entire 40, however, looms large.

In Order:
Cody Zeller - clearly the best of the best
Trey Burke - will likely get some first place votes but will finish 2nd
Aaron White - we love him and his stats are solid but he will finish 3rd

Brandon Dawson
David Sobolewski
Joe Coleman

Not so sure on your "clearly the best of the best" comment there, I honestly think there could be a split between Zeller/Burke and Burke has a chance to win it outright.

Co-freshman of the year; with White finishing third and Sobolewski fourth.

Michigan is going to finish higher than they did last season and this will be after losing Darius Morris and a lot of folks thought Michigan would really suffer. Indiana has had some big wins, but Zeller still has little impact to how they play on the road and their record is poor in the BIG. A lot of hype, Zeller is very good, but I don't think he is that far ahead of Burke.
