It's all reputation like Ohio State being a final 4 team clearly Kirk gets the halo effect from anyone other than those of us who know what he does and how he does it. The problem is the other team knows him as good as he knows himself. His lack of intelligence telling CJ to go back out there time in and time out when you could tell he wasn't even mentally in the game anymore was appauling from the perspective that he didn't see what was happening when an entire national TV audience did....oh and should we talk about the repeated comments from the announcers.

Actually it does, if a team can't run it affects the way that opponents defenses play call. So running the ball well puts them on their heals.

And we have about 2000 yards of offense. if you can't throw the football, you're basically going 11 on 10 and you lose your ability to block because you're constantly outnumbered. come on, clinton, you can't defend ferentz at every single turn.

Tell me one thing you feel ferentz does wrong. Just one. You can't believe he is 100% correct 100% of the time. kirk ferentz literally isn't God.

Iowa almost always is good at run blocking. Pass blocking is not so consistent. It's all about what Kirk values. Kirk shoukd have been an NFL head coach in the 60's and 70's.
