Which team will be better: 2010 Iowa football or 2011/2012 Iowa State basketball??

Just asking because both fan bases are talking "national title" contenders!! Not joking either, with ISU getting a commit from highly recruited Royce White and Chirs Babb being eligible plus 2011 recruits their coach, God, pulls in, they are thinking HUGE things.

ISU football from 2011 through 2129 when proud, proud coach Rhodes retires.

Mark my words. The glory days are here squakeye fans. We are about to witness a run only the likes of ISU football from 1900-2010 could rival. Deal with it!

I take A, because White wont be there when Babb is eligible and if ISU is as bad as PSU Babb will hit the ground running again.

Did I spell squakeye right? I'm still not sure how that term is is an insult? At least with clowns, though quite juvenile is easily understood.
 
Last I checked ISUcks still plays in the Big 12-2. With the B-ball doormats (Nebby and Col) gone and them having to play a round robin with the likes of Kansas, Texas, and new powerhouses Baylor, KSU etc. ISUcks will still be at the bottom of the pile. But just as in football they will make Iowa their championship game and their only measure of sucess because they wont have any in their conference.
 
I simply cannot believe this was a post...For one, White probably won't last a full year there and two, what the heck has Fred Hoiberg done as a coach? It doesn't matter who he signs, can he coach, nobody knows, he isn't God and just pick this thing up and run. His model was the T'Wolves who are choke artists...

NOBODY at ISU is thinking anything remotely along these lines...and I doubt anyone at Iowa is either. This whole idea is ludicrous and I'd imagine that's one thing both fanbases would agree on. Anything is possible in sports, but sports fans in the state of Iowa have learned from hard history to be realists.
 
HawkeyeRyno has numerous posts talking about White, he is more excited about it than all of my clone fans put together. He started a gloom and doom for Hawks basketball thread because of their recent recruits and transfers. Either he has a crush on coach Freddy, he is a clone fan, or he is talking up this White fellow so he doesn't get robbed.

Ryno is a troll when it comes to ISU. Check out the comments in the Rag article and tell me IARyno and HawkeyeRyno arent the same person. Ryno's comment is on page 4 and posts something similar on every single ISU article....I cant quite figure him out because it isnt funny

Dude, I'm not the same guy!! You know how many people have the Ryno nickname? It is so hard to get that as a name. But this Register guy is ruining my credibility but don't want to change my name.
 
Whatever. I can't figure out how to change my HN.com name. You need to go back and check my posts on here before you convict me of a freaking Clone fan!
 
Iowa and Iowa State basketball are both starting over. In order for each of us to succeed we need strong recruiting on top of coaching (where Fran has a huge edge on ISU) but my opinion of ISU/Iowa basketball is that ISU has done a better job of this CURRENTLY. This may change soon. But right now Hoiberg has a gotten more and a few highly regarded recruits. Please don't bash me because my opinion on a single topic may be bias toward ISU.
