where is the press release?

if all this stuff about Iowa hiring a new OC is true, why has the U of I released an official press release? I'm not believing anything until it official.
 
The coaches are on a cruise ship out in the middle of the Caribbean. We won't hear anything official until they get back to IC.
 
Yep, it wasn't long ago it was tweeted that KF had hired a DC from outside the program, and soon after - Phil Parker.

So I'm just waiting to hear something that is actually OFFICIAL.

Because it isn't official, ya moran. Remember how a week before Urban was hired everyone and their mother was saying Meyer was going to OSU? but he denied a deal was done even though details of the contract were leaked? If enough people say it, it's probably true. There might be indicators outside of "Well he visited there, so it'll probably be him". I don't know who all has reported this, but with things like this if there's enough people pointing to smoke the fire does exist. They don't just end the whole process without letting the other candidates know before the Hawks release a statement.

We're not the press, we won't lose any sort of credibility by running with the rumors.

But, how many times did we hear XXXX was just hired as DC. I hope its true, but until I see it pn paper, do not believe a thing.

Lots of people believe lots of things and most of them are stupid.

I do not believe one single paper reported that anyone was hired as the DC. Yes, there were tweets, but those same people have tweeted about the beer they had with another twitterer. That is nowhwere near the equivalent of a paper releasing what the Austin Statesman did... Papers do not do that without a good source... Does that mean that source is correct? Nope. But they had to have a good source to release that info.

Kurt and the rest of his stiff are back after days of soaking up the sun and relaxing while downing over-priced, watered-down rum drinks; whar the release?
