UM KOK isnt the one throwing the ball. Its up to Ricky to decide where to throw the ball to and its up to the Wide outs to catch it. Dont start blaming KOK when he hasnt done anything wrong.

I just talked to KOK and he thought this was a "rock and jock" mtv game where deep balls were worth 25 points...that explains it

Umm, unless I'm missing something and we're running "Four Verticle" on every pass play, then it's Stanzi's decision on whether to hit the underneath or the deep ball. Take it up with him. All I know is if they're going to put 8 or 9 in the box, then it doesn't make a lot of sense to beat our head against the wall.
However, what I do have an issue with offensively is having ARob out there. Sometimes, for whatever reason, a player just doesn't "have it" on a particular night. It's obvious that he doesn't have it tonight, so we probably need to think about having Jewel in there a little more in the 2nd half.
The deep ball was golden last year man. AZ is kicking us in the teeth right now. There is no reason for this. Iowa wasn't prepared IMO. Stanzi has not been accurate on deep balls and on short balls they are to high or the WR's are dropping them. The OL is protecting stanzi but their DL is definetly getting pressure. Every down you see an OL back into stanzi and stanzi has to move to not trip on his own OL. Special Teams just is blowing right now and the first half has just been nothing but bad news. AZ is hitting Iowa hard and I mean real hard. Hope things get fixed quick. *sigh*

KOK has called a pretty good game. If you want to pin this loss on a coach, it goes no further than Lester Erb. McNutt dropped that one, wipe that off and the two blown ST plays and it's 7-6 Hawk. Oh well, I called 41-9 AZ before the game, we just need a safety and to hold them to 14 in the second and my prediction will come true.

I'm just completely sucked we come out guns blazing...when our bread and butter system is normally run and pound this crap. Yeah I get we got weapons in the passing and we can now set it up by stretching the D and then run. But come on, this spread deal compulsively is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not saying the entire game is kok's fault but on a lot of plays I am not seeing any receivers within 10 yards of the LOS except the rb. Again, not blaming KOK just making an observation
