When Aaron White is gone...

this team is so screwed. He is the smartest player on our team by far and we don't have anybody close who tries to compete at his level.

On a related topic, we need our school President to be ****-canned as she is clueless, so the next President can hire a new AD who can actually hire coaches to beat our state rival who has no business being on the same level as us. $$, facilities, I've seen both and it ain't close. No excuse to be beat like this on your own homecourt in the 4th year of being the coach.

Hopefully Flemming can consistently knock down a shot. Thatll be a step. The front court will be veteran next year but guards still a question. Ellingson may be able to shoot but doesnt look athletic enough for B1G bball and we cant win with him on the court. I think next year is frans best class. Actually look like athletes.

I really like Aaron and he is good but at the same time he is also limited.

His inability to knock down a perimeter jumper is a killer. In the first half he hit one 3 ball but then missed the next 2-3 that were all open and good looks (the type that ISU knocked down). Early in the second half he was out along the 3 point line in the opening minutes and would not take the 3 ball, instead forcing it inside into traffic. Those turnovers led to several run outs and started the tidal wave. Teams just do not respect his outside game. He normally knocks down one 3 ball a game but will have 5-10 open looks.

The other thing that disappoints me about his game is the number of times he does not finish when there is contact around the basket. There are times where he draws a minor foul but misses an easy bunny in the process that should be an 'and 1'.

I know I am knit-picking as he does a number of really good things for us but he has holes in his game still.
