Of Jake Rudock coming into Iowa as a true freshman and starting at QB? Has this ever happened?

I know Vandenberg and Weinke along with the slew of other guys are on the depth chart but is this kid possibly better then all of them combine?

Just to get you up to speed- Kirk Ferentz will play a veretan unless he ABSOLUTELY has too. James Vandenburg will be your starting QB next year. End of story.

Alright guys, there's really no reason to bash this guy. No, Ruddock will not play as a true freshman next year. In fact I'd bet he gets a red shirt. But we don't need to hate on this guy for asking one question about what's to come next year. Granted KF will always play the guy with more years behind him but Ruddock is very underrated and looks like he will become a tremendous player.
