Whatever happened to Pat Ingram?

I sometimes look up former Iowa players to see how they're doing at their new schools. I thought Pat Ingam transferred to IUPUI. When I looked at their basketball rosters for last year and this year I didn't see him listed. Anyone know anything about him or any of the other players who transferred during the lick or Fran years? Thanks for any information.

That is a good question. Just like do we know where the guys from this year Stokes and Meyer will end up? (Sorry to derail your thread but it is kinda the same thing).

IUPUI is where Ingram ended up

Yeah..he said that in the original post. :)

That's a good question, I always wondered how the careers of Tony Freeman and Jeff Peterson turned out.

Stokes is going to UNI and Meyer is going to Eastern Florida State. Whether they end up there/play there is another question.

Freeman played his last year at Southern Illinois and did really well.

Peterson played a year at Arkansas, got his degree, and played his last year at Florida State. Was not a major player on the team, though.

Couple that with the Ingram going to IUPUI, and I wonder what they did in high school that made iowa offer them in the first place.

I know it, especially since the Iowa basketball program is and was such a powerhouse back when they committed. It's a wonder that more top-flight recruits weren't pounding down Iowa's door for a scholly, especially considering the great shape the program was in when Fran first came in.

Sarcasm noted, but there is a teeny, tiny grey area between "top-flight recruits", and Summit League talent.

ISU has had kids transfer to Northern Arizona, Southern, FGCU, Iona, Oakland, and Northwood. It's pretty common to see kids transfer down to lower levels.

I think all of the guys Iowa recruits are pretty talented, but some guys work harder than others. Last year Fran said that Jok was making him play him due to his effort. I'm not saying the guys that transferred out were lazy, but some guys live for basketball and some guys don't.
