Illinois football meltdown because their coach is not only bad but hes a total jackA$$...and they supposedly have talent and expectations which makes their downfall all the more marketable...

IL football, they had much more talent going into the season. I'm not sure you can call the Iowa bball season a meltdown when there were limited expectations for most fans. Illinioes football had two QBs with expereince and one of the best WR in the conference.

based on this week definately Our meltdown is worse- cuz i learned this week that a lot of people have no sense of humor, and the fact that the better play of the team a couple weeks ago and the positive turn at that point set us all up for a huge downer
but thats just my opinion, everybody sees things thru their own eyes

To answer, I would say our current basketball countdown because I think the situation is COMPLETELY OVER EXAGGERATED!

I would say Illinois because I think our boards aren't really a meltdown anymore because most fans and posters think Iowa bb is a complete joke and has been for about 2 1/2 years since big lick has been here...
Now, which team is a bigger joke in the Big 10-- Illinois or Iowa? Iowa clearly is the bigger joke because national media make fun of Iowa bb and attendance...

Just wait for the illini bb board meltdown if the illini struggle their next 6 games vs the top teams in the league...which they will,starting tonite vs MSU. When the illini drop out of NCAA contention...their board will make Iowa boards look like a minor blip.

Illannoy was supposed to be good last year. I think they were picked over the Hawks in the preseason standings. Iowa Bball wasn't expected to do anything.
And that is why the Iowa ''meltdown'' is relatively muted vs what is coming if the Illini fall apart as I expect.

Why would an outsider find it "hysterical" when we are having the worst 3-year run in school history? I would guess most outsiders would say we have a right to be upset. How many fans of other teams have come out to our boards to tell us we are wrong?
I think an outsider would look at the prior coaches record his last 3 years at CHA..
(44-5),and record vs Big Ten (32-22) and compare them to the 2.7 years of the new coach 35-51 (13-35) and wonder....why would any fan hate the prior guy with the better record and embrace the new guy with the poor record? As an outsider, that would be the logical puzzler.
