it must be hard when iowa so small. the city from I come has 8 million people. so more people than many iowas.

The post was in response to someone saying that there is enough talent in Iowa to field a quality team, which is accurate but...if fran can find better talent outside of Iowa then that is what he should do.

how many people in iowa. i live in iowa from 1 febuary 2012. i live in davenport quad city iowa. i also stay in des moines. these are big city in iowa. davenport third largest city in iowa. my city in china is third largest in province. your city so much smaller than what i no.

dongguan in east china. not many american no what it is. it is factory city and very large and new. we love basketball in east china. dongguan is best basketball city in china. that why i love reading basketball on internet with new freind in iowa. we speak same langwage.

Iowa is small and Fran does have to go out of state to fill the roster. but when you look at the last 3 years, you would have
#1 pg in Paige
top 20 player in Barnes at sf
top 50 player in Woodbury at center
with top 150 player Oglesby at guard
Knutson at pf out of Urdandale schools
thats your starting 5 from Iowa
not bad 2 McD AA in Barnes and Paige
a top 50 player in Woodbury
a 150 player at 105 in Oglesby
and a player who was rated 42 at his position
this alone shows why Fran needs to lock down the Borders
and if a kid like Knutson leaves and Fran can get players like White the starting 5 will be more than good enough to compete with anybody
then you look at Kale Abrahamson that went to NW and Jared Uthoff and Bohannon that went to Wisconsin, Iowa maybe small but it is producing top level talent that competes in the BT and the ACC

it was not intentional as i went to the NW and Wisconsin board to get their name
but that would make for a great starting 5
