What should the fans wear?

I was watching the orange bowl with Penn St and Florida St lastnight on ESPN Classic and i thought The Penn St fans looked pretty cool with them wearing white so i think it would be cool if the all the fans going should wear wear all black or all gold. I think a blackout would look pretty bad a$$ :)
 
What are the average evening temps for that time of year in Miami? I'm assuming low 70's?

edit: looked it up and appears the average January high is 76 and average low is 59. I would guess mid 60's at gametime.

From a visual standpoint, to me the GOLD makes more of an impact.

I have always thought the BLACK-out is diminished by the caucasian skin tones of our faces and arms. In a crowd, the face is the dominant part that is visually shown as our torso/body is hidden by the people in front/back of us. Therefore, much of what we see is NOT black.

Therefore, I am a big fan of Gold-rush when it is hot temps, and Black-out when it is cold temps and we cover our bodies (but our faces do still show).
 
Friend of mine is a Virginia Tech fan. He said temperature during the game last year got down to 45. It was unusual, but be he encouraged being prepared.

Not sure what it was like in '03, but I'm pretty sure we could do a blackout without worrying about sweltering in the heat at night (might want to wear gold before game time though). :)
 
Ugh, I say wear whatever you want as long as you cheer loud and proud for the Hawkeyes. We have a long enough debate about people wearing the same color at Kinnick Stadium, much less Landshark Stadium. The only thing I care about looking good on TV is the scoreboard in the top left corner. I'll be at the game, look for me, I will be wearing an IOWA shirt! Go Hawks!

Not the old black vs gold argument again...I usually wear both.
 
This is a tough call. I'm not sure there is a right answer. IIRC, Iowa will be wearing their white uniforms becasue GT home uniforms are a dark Navy blue. Yet thier second color is gold as well.

Iowa is wearing black for the game. GT, the home team, wears white/gold at home.
