What offensive play was left out vs ISU?

We have three "trick" plays; the bubble screen, the reverse/end around, and the pitch back to QB/'flea-flicker'

We saw each one in one of the three games.

So nothing new the rest of the season

Does anyone know for sure if he played ? I didnt notice him at all. Cant imagine why he wouldnt be getting a few more snaps each game unless there is a problem

I know I saw him on one play for sure. We were lined up in a more power formation, and he was lined up alone up top. We ran the ball.

What's the point of bringing in a JUCO if we don't play him? I know, I know....he has to learn the playbook.....obviously six weeks into his career he only knows three or four routes

I agree, I want to see him on the field. But most times there are things going on inside the program we dont now about. Unless you are at about every practice. You are just speculating in most cases

Did I miss something? Was the run game not KILLIN' the ISU defense?

Should KirFer need to put Powell in for a deep bomb just to sassify you? Or perhaps we can pocket a couple of his plays for another game, instead of showing everything.

Why are you even on here? Shouldn't you be off coaching a championship team?

In the past when people would criticize play calling I never really agreed with them, but I guess I've changed after this season.... On our penultimate drive we're running all over them, and I'm thinking a play action pass to the endzone is coming... It doesn't, and I suppose that could be written off...why move away from what's working.... But then..

After the interception, we're 1st at their 25... Considering the previous drive it seemed the perfect opportunity to run a play action pass on first down to the endzone... Both drives stall and settle for field goals.. I just don't get that...

If the "bubble screen" has been abandoned, I for one would rejoice. Whatever the personnel needed for it, we appear to not have this season.

One of the best plays I ever remember seeing was at home against Wisconsin. Don't remember the year for sure, but Dallas Clark was the tight end. We faked the bubble screen, and hit Clark right down the seam for a touchdown. Nobody was within 10 yards of him. I have never seen it attempted again.
