What it's like to be a head coach in college and in NBA?

Which is harder? Do they work a lot? Is there any difference? I'm curious what made Coaches jump from college to pro?

Exactly the same, most don't even realize they left college in the first place.

I've never been a head coach in the NBA, but as a college head coach, I can tell you that the down side is that you don't get free lawn mowers from local dealers. The upside is that your secretary will still join you in the hot tub, but only if you have really cool hair.

The grind of a 82 game schedule versus recruiting......Developing and dealing with young men or dealing with grown men. Like anything else it comes down to personal preference.

I do like the current NBA trend of hiring 1st time HC instead of recycling the same ol' dudes.
