What is the worse probation since SMU?

Miami was hit pretty hard in the mid 90's for their Pell Grant and improper payment shananigans. Their probation was 3 years and 31 scholarships. I'm not sure about post season bans. Due in large part to the probation they experienced one losing record.

Alabama got nailed pretty good in the early part of this decade, but I think it pails in comparison to USC's.

I was just thinking- Dennis Erickson left Miami for Seattle because of a pending NCAA investigation and sanctions. And what a coincidence, 16 years later Seattle hires another coach on the lam. Ahhhhh, must be nice to have options.

Good stuff. I agree, the USC scholarship limitations are pretty significant. It's always interesting when you leave a school, and then that school gets into trouble. Lou Holtz (aka Dr. Football) could give a lecture on this. ;)
