What is Cougill's back injury?

When it first started, he was having back spasms. Other than that, I don't know if it is linger spasms or something else???

I've always liked Cougill and think he would have flourished on a Davis team, not to say he might not with Lickliter.

Part of the problem I think is that we desperately needed him to be B10-ready right away. In a perfect world he'd be watching from the bench as juniors and seniors got most of the playing time and everyone would accept his rawness as normal for a first-year player.

I think by the time he's a junior he'll be fine, but there aren't that many 6'8"+ bigs who are B10-ready as freshmen.

Look at UNI's Adam Koch and Grant Stout. Both studs as upperclassmen, but not capable of much as freshmen.
