What impact would this have on Big Ten?

Say Colorado and Utah go to the new Pac-12...and BYU and Texas Christian become part of a revamped Big 12...does the Big Ten still stand alone without a championship game?

I don't think so...because the BCS pressure would be overwhelming to have everyone playing by the same rules.

if colorado left the big 12 and tcu was brought in.........would baylor be sent to the big 12 north?

If the BTN could get notre dame to join the conferece the Big 10 would be more powerful than the BCS. I dislike ND but adding them to the big 10 would cause an unprecidented power shift.

Why would the Big 12 need to add 2 teams to replace Colorado? I believe expansion is inevitable for the Big 10 the only problem is who would they add as the 12th team?
Notre Dame (probably wouldn't give up the big TV deal they already have) or raid the Big East (Pitt, West Virg., Loisville, Cincy or Syracuse) or Big 12 so they could add both BYU and TCU (Iowa St, Mizzo).
