What happened to the NW vs Iowa game thread?

Because I was at the game I didn't get the opportunity to look at it. Then this morning, I was going through it and got to page 17 and it wouldn't go to 18...(the ol' this thread cannot be found please contact the site administrator message). This leads me to believe that it was deleted. Then someone told me Jon deletes all the game threads.

So my question is...Is that true and if so why? Or did this particular thread get bad at the end?

As opposed to banning everyone for violating site rules, I delete the game threads more often than not. They contain the worst of the worst. That's why.
