None of them. True freshmen rarely have a significant impact at Iowa outside of special teams.

Wasn't Tevaun Smith as true freshman? Given he didn't get many targets but he was on the field quite a bit. Buford and Draper where true freshman who also say the field quite a bit.

And Malik Rucker. And soon to be Trevon Young although that will most likely be us pulling his offer. And the 5 or 6 more to come. I wouldn't want to play for Ferentz.
When did Malik Rucker decommit? Seriously? Did I miss that?
If Trevon Young leaves, it won't be because he decommitted, it will be because his scholarship offer was revoked.

I have listed rivals, scout, 247sports, and ESPN. They all have Malik Rucker as still being committed and I haven't seen anything on twitter and I follow all the recruiting services guys that cover Iowa recruiting and nothing has been said about Malik decommitting.

Good post. Haven't heard any news regarding Rucker pulling his commitment. People on here are becoming whiners. Every year every team will lose a couple guys for whatever reason, We have had 2 go. One because of his dad, not KF, and the other to play for Michigan which is his home state and the most winningest program in college football, again not KF. Will we lose any more? Maybe but I definitely don't expect more than one or two and we have time to pick up a few guys.
Agreed. I think we got spoiled. We will always love it when we "steal" one but when it happens to us on a down year we get really unreasonable. It happens. I still like this class and it has something we really need...........speed. I hope we keep our current guys and I think one or two of the WRs may see the field a bit as WR or maybe return guys.

It's not over yet! Iowa is in on some more burners. Some sleepers. I too like this class.

LOL, Smith caught 3 passes. Clearly a significant impact. Buford's PT gradually declined throughout the year. I don't think he even got on the field the last 3 games or so. Draper played quite a bit, and not very well.

There's what, maybe 3 spots left? And two of the primarly options I saw in the last HawkeyeReport article had no stars and zero offers, from anyone. I wouldn't exactly call them "burners," but they certainly are "sleepers." As in comatose.
Reno you clearly didn't read my post, I said he playered alot but didn't have many targets. Which is why I think he was a liability on the field. He played a lot but they didn't throw to him alot which teams could all but eliminate him for the play. He played on alot of running plays which was a tell to the defense as well.
You said that true freshman rarely see significant PT outside of special teams, which isn't true. They just didn't have a significant impact which was the OP's point but you said PT.
The fact reminds they played a lot for true freshman.
