What are you learning today about the CFB/B10 landscape?

With no Iowa to focus on today what are you learning:

- Big day for orange teams... Syracuse is two wins away from a bowl game at 4-1. And Illinois took apart Penn State today.

- A 24-3 performance over Penn St last week just doesn't feel as good now.

- IMO, Minnesota is a worse team in Adam Weber's senior year than they were his freshman year.

I'll have learned some more in a minute here once this UM vs MSU game gets going. But right now I've learned that watching the B10 outside of Iowa is boring.

LOL - That's what my wife said to me earlier today. Oh well, at least we can pick teams we need to win or lose in addition to all those in front of us in the polls.

I'm learning that I need to get my TV equipped to watch streaming video since UM-MSU is only available on ESPN3.com.

Well actually, it is available on ESPN in SD, and on ESPNHD is Clemson-UNC. The ESPN3.com stream is perfectly synced with the TV also.

Illinois could seriously finish better than us!!! They miss us and Wisconsin but play Purdue, Indiana, Minnesota and PSU - the worst teams in conference. We play the best.

I've learned it's pretty up in the air and I think that a one-loss team could win the Big 10.

I've learned that I HATE in-season bye weeks for Iowa (hasn't it been a couple years?).

It allows me too much time to overanalyze Iowa with the "relativity" game (an average Illannoy team with a frosh QB scores 2x the points at PSU as a senior led Iowa offense, at night, in Kinnick) and come out of it being as skeptical of the Hawks as I've been since mid-season, last year.

Now, if Iowa comes off the bye and scores 35+, holds Robinson to sub-200 passing and sub-100 rushing, and spoils Michigan's homecoming by double digits, then confidence is restored for finishing 11-1:)
