Surprised his name hasn't been brought up yet, especially with his connection with Barta. With the recent developments of Jim Boylen being the ideal candidate for the job I can't say I'm real thrilled so I thought I'd throw McClain's name in the mix...

He is from Orient, HC at Wyoming (157-115), associate HC at Colorado, had uptempo style at TCU and brought it to Wyoming, recruited decent talent to Wyoming including a few Iowans, charismatic. Plus I like the guy...I dated his niece for 4 years so I personally know him. Was there when he first took Wyoming job! Thought I'd give him a shot. Here is his bio:

My bad. The new AD was on the job 5 months when he fired him. There were rumors Barta was going to fire him the season before.
