What a way to show a potential recruit (Trey Dickerson) how Iowa basketball is played? Do you really think recruits are going to want to play for a team that can't maintain any kind of a lead?
This team has pretty much showed me that they're not a strong team & it showed with their weak non-conference schedule. The only tough games they played were in the Atlantis tournament & Iowa State. Get it together Iowa or keep playing second fiddle to Iowa State. Is Hoiberg available to dual coach?
If this team has any chance to compete with the big boys in the Big Ten & across the nation, then play tougher competition before conference play to boost RPI along with strength of schedule.
Get better recruits into the program. I certainly don't see any Jess Settles, Luke Recker's, Ed Horton's or even Ronnie Lester's with this team. I guess we spent too much time trying to get a point guard that chose Kentucky in 2014. I want to see better talent for 2014-2015 season.
I'm slowly losing faith that this team can make any kind of run in any tournament. We as a fan base deserve a better product than what I've been watching recently. I really don't know what Iowa needs to do, but it's getting ugly quick.
I'm hoping that something happens quick with this team because the bleeding is continuing & opposing teams are taking advantage of it.
