Quietly, Iowa has taken a step up. Since 2015 only Covid has stopped us from 8 wins.

Before this Kirk basically had to rebuild in 99, 05 and 11.

I admit I’ve thought the Captain needed to move on in the past but he is steering the ship well currently.

It is all there in front of us. One game at a time, but Iowa should be almost certainly favored in every game left on the regular season as it stands now.

Can't sleep on Wisconsin, Northwestern, Penn St, maybe Maryland. But it is not murders row....challenging but far from impossible.

It is interesting how Kirk Ferentz keeps putting together these double diet win streaks over the years. 13 straight wins in 2008-2009. 12 straight wins in 2015. Not to mention a 22 home game winning streak in 2002-2005.

Its true. Every now and then, KF has a team where everything just seems to go right. Yes, you need to start with a good team, but it helps to have a little luck too.
