I am still going to bitch bcuz we didnt use the TEs at all after the fake FG. My gosh.

Instead when we did throw one or two to them or to a wideout they were low percentage sideline throws.

Fant and Hock, and even have weiting in for Fant as they dont think we throw to him and they should get open for 10-15 more catches a game

That last 4th and 8 was pitch and catch, easy sort of stop sit down route.

Great win, great team win great for Recinos, but it should not have been close.

Keep in mind you need a QB with marginal ability to throw first.
And that's not sarcasm.

Oh come on, first I am talking about the OC and KF putting more emphasis on targeting them.

Heck just a quick throw now and then to them flaring out and they get 5+ yards just like a hand off.

and I will look at Nate's stats and get back to you

Nate's line is below, 60% with about 4 throw aways, about 9 yds per completion, 5.6 per attempt, 2 TDs and very importantly no INTs

a very good line I dont care what you say, he threw some really good passes but also rushed some and threw early without having to. Nate is definitely above avg, not great like the big time pro style All pros, but

C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT
Nate Stanley 16/27 152 5.6 2 0

Oh yes, Nate had Fant open that one time by about 10 yards but couldnt deliver, distance was good but it was inside, not sure if he expected fant to curl in just a hair away from the dback or if that is what fant should have done.

We dont know but I would like to watch the replay and see if Stanley rushed that throw a bit or didnt get his feet and body aligned right which is sometimes a problem

I dont think Stanley is a bad qb, but he sure isnt accurate enough to be allBig Ten and pull out 2 or 3 games because of his play. I have to think if beathard was this team's qb, we would be 11-1 minimum

It’s almost like a high school basketball team that has Kareem at center, but they don’t throw it to him in the crucial stages of the game. Just maddening when you are a fan.

Brian - this just in... when you throw the ball to your TE’s good things happen.

I've made my feelings clear on NS but this excuse doesn't work for me because even with a Hornibrook you have to find a way to get your talent on the field. Fant/Hock/AJ some players don't come off the field

I’d like to see the All22 shot. I think they doubled the TE more in 2nd half. And since most of the sets did not include double TEs ....

Well, got shut. Hock was open on the 4th and 8 because Nebby went all blitz. They were going for the win. Iowa’s OL and #10 picked it up and Stanley finally hit someone when it mattered.

Great finish by Recinos. But ... don’t miss an easier kick earlier.

We did everything we could to piss that game away and actually didn't for once. Nebby coaching>Iowa coaching already, and will be for years to come.
