Well...you asked for it Fran and now you've got it. Congratulations, Iowa fans are finally mad again!

Didn't catch the game but saw the score and had to come check the boards. To my delight, front and center, angry Iowa fans. Glad to see the passion back fellas!

a gutwrenching loss, but no anger here. this team is light years ahead of last years squad! Future looks bright! This great group of young players are exciting and can only get better with age. Basabe will be a manchild with 15-20 more lbs.!!!!!

No anger here but plenty of passion for Iowa basketball. This was the loudest my living room has been for an Iowa basketball game in years.

Angry here about the loss only. No anger towards the players or coaches!!! Great game, obviously my passion still exists as I exhibited long lost traits that would get me banned from any public establishment in the country, especially church!

Probably not the way I would have tried to end the game but I'm not the coach and you either take the TO or not. 50/50 shot

if anything I'm back to being ticked at officials and etc :) god it feels good again....screaming at the TV....jumping up on the alley oops (even though they didn't make it) Yelling for the Timeout....GREAT jobs Hawks!!!! I LOVE IT!!! This team cares and leaves it out on the floor....and I'm SUPER pumped for next year.

In the post game, Fran said they had a play called in advance (before Taylor's free throws). By the time it became clear that the play was busted, he didn't feel like a TO was the right call (Said he didn't want to call it and find .2 of a seconds left or something like that. Better to let them improvise in that spot. Also a good learning experience for the team, which is what this year is really about.).

Rest assured, Cartwright was not the guy he wanted taking the final shot, down 3.

yeah, just think about how big those two missed oops were now...like I love that but finish em guys!!!! May's was AWESOME but he didn't put it down!!!

Those dunks would have been awesome, don't think those had as much impact on the game as Wisky shooting like 5 -30 in the first half. It wasn't because of our defense either, they were missing wide open shots, if they shoot just 40% we would have lost by 15-20.

I thought we played better D in the second half but Wisky shot over 50% anyway, go figure.
