Great to have another power back in the fold. He had 541 yards in one game this year. In my very amateur eye he seems to have good vision and is a "downhill" runner. See Jon's write up on the front page.

Guess that means likely pulling offer from Treyvon Hughes with 2 RB commits already in the fold..

Anyone have a guess-timate on how many spots are left?

Some believe RB verbal, Hilliard, will end up on D for Iowa. He's seen time on both sides of the ball for his HS team this season.

I don't know much about the kid, but I'm guessing he'll be a great addition to any college football team. It's kind of hard to sneeze without knocking down a Catholic school around here. Vianney is the one that is probably the lowest key of them all. They do their thing and don't make a fuss about it. Never met a Vianney kid that annoyed me or one that tried to play some air of superiority. Not surprising that he'd switch from Mizzou to Iowa.

I did see some high school highlights on local TV a couple weeks ago, including a Vianney game. They had a crowd shot, and a TON of the kids in the stands were wearing Hawkeye gear, I would assume in support of Mr. Smith. The school's colors are similar, but it's good to know there's a ton of Hawk gear that made its way into town.
