Weisman might not have played?

Heard on the post game show there was a chance Weisman might not have played today? Something about a holiday? Anyone else hear this?

Yom Kippur. The holiest of holy days for the Jewish faith. Between sundown yesterday to sundown today they are supposed to fast and not do anything.

It seriously hurt my daughter's high school in their football game last night since the opposing team refused to move the game from Friday to Thursday or Saturday evening.

He said earlier in the week he was playing despite the holiday. No worries.

Can't blame them for that...why jack up their preparation for someone else's holiday? Things like that should be worked out by the HSAA during scheduling though.
