Parker has his players around the ball, making plays, punching out fumbles and getting picks. They have some good sack stats and TFL. I sometimes wish he would go for more quick penetration and disruption and TFLs but I assume he thinks that can also lead to guys getting out of their gaps and opening up big running lanes, etc. I know in 2017 he had his front 7 trying for more penetration against PSU at Kinnick and did a great job of messing up McSorley and Barkley at the mesh point a number of times. But boy if you miss and leave a gap open a big gainer can ensue.
Cant argue with his success.
