The weekly "BRAIN" = hawkeyescott .... freakin' again! (liar, he said the last one was a fluke)

So yes ... the tie for one of the "Brain Trust" awards has finally been broken!

The standings for the award to the individual who wins the most weekly awards is:

1. hawkeyescott - 2 weekly awards
2. CHShawk, CAARHawk, and hawk44 - 1 weekly award
3. The rest of us who completely sucko - 0 weekly wards


Also, the Novelty award of the week is the "Faith in the state of Iowa award." And that award goes to:

chinahawk and goods10

They are the only folks who correctly picked that Iowa, Iowa State, and Northern Iowa would ALL win! Kudos to them for having FAITH in all the teams that hail from the Hawkeye state! (LOL, do you see what I did there ....)

I understand, I hate the bye week, but on the other hand I look at it as 1 extra week of college football since it takes forever for the season to get here and then in 3 months it is basically over.

I understand that too. However, I'm also one of those nuts who enjoys the recruiting game. It's kinda fun to break down what direction you think the program is going in ... at least, personnel-wise (and going off of all the tidbits you either see on the field or hear about coming from practice concerning the development of guys).
 




The tie-break ended up not being needed ... however, if you're curious, the answer was 68.5 rating points. Ricky was at 165.3 while Bolden was at 96.8.
