What about Jewel? I know he played through it but will it be lingering? Also, seemed like Rugumba was replaced by Oji(sorry for spelling error) has he passed him on depth chart or something else there?

I enjoyed that article. Starting to get pretty excited about having a speedster at WR in an offense that understands how to use him.

This is confusing. It was week 2 for college football and Iowa last week, but it was the week 1 report.

Interesting that Mansell has not passed Boyle on the QB depth chart. Not that it matters if Stanley stays the starter and plays all the snaps for the next 3 years. Maybe -Mansell will get red-shirtrd this year.

It is hard to justify giving even 3rd string snaps to a kid that is red-shirting.

It was Week 1 of the report. I get the confusion, though.

Jewell played the whole game and told us afterwards he was fine. He's a little dinged but I wouldn't expect him to miss any time.

Iowa started rotating corners and playing more nickel and dime in the second half. There's nothing wrong with Rugamba, to my knowledge. He does need to play better. He was the worst of our three corners on Saturday.

They did a great job on Lazard as he had only 23 yards. I'd have to go back and watch again but were they putting one guy on him or rotating? Hakeem Butler on the other hand was eating up our secondary.

Lazard moved around a lot against the zone and he definitely saw multiple defenders throughout he day.
