IOWA CITY, Iowa -- BTN announced today that Wednesday will be the first of this summer's two full days of Iowa programming as a part of "School Days." University of Iowa programming starts at 5 a.m. (CT) with the 2003 Iowa vs. Michigan football game at Kinnick Stadium.


Featured programming includes last season's basketball game versus Michigan, the 1985 football game between top-ranked Iowa and No. 2 Michigan, the 2010 Insight Bowl win against Missouri, and the network debut of the 2004 Outback Bowl victory over Florida.

I consider it a minor miracle that today isn't featuring the 2007 OT game vs. MSU. I guess there's always the second "Iowa Day"!

^^^ I agree bob. .... by the way Chris Leak was not drafted in the 2007 draft. He is now a WR coach at UF. Dallas Baker played in the NFL and is now in the CFL.

There was some sort of "difficulty" is all I remember. That game also, briefly, featured the oft-injured, multi-position-talented Champ Davis in some mop-up, IIRC.

And for the 2007 game against MSU...it's omn this Saturday as part of "2000s Fantastic Finishes". Sad that game was probably the highlight of a VERY forgettable season...
