We need a 6-pack

A 6-pack of new players that is. With the four recruits, Archie and Kurt Alexander or whoever Lick brings in with Tucker's scholly we're going to have six new players on this team. Question is, will these guys bring in the necessary athleticism (and height for that matter)?

I mean what a chasm in talent was evident yesterday in the Minny game. Noone can create his own shot. Cole and Fuller get their stuff rejected all of the time when they try to take it to the hole and our alley-oops attempts were just laughable.

I mean, the absolute ceiling for the team next year is .500 overall and 6-7 B 10 wins. Is that really going to be good enough? Even Lick himself said he sees us being .500 next year. On one level I'm ****** he would set his sites so low. On another level I admire him for his honesty.

I guess I'm just numb right now.

The new guys do not bring great quicks to the court. THey are all typical Lick recruits...good guys, recruited by mid-major programs. No difference makers in the group...they will help with practice next year. A couple will make contributions if allowed to play short minutes. However, I believe they will be forced into substantial playing time. We will hear the we are young cry again next season.
