Chill out. Even if it is a MAC team. NIU could probably beat half of the teams in the B1G. It was the first game of the year under a new system and new players and we beat a team that went 11-3 and returned numerous players on defense. We aren't as bad as we all think. JVB will get it together. *Cough UNI 2009 Cough* Go Hawks! can't wait to play Little Brother Saturday!

You know I'm not so sure ISU could beat NIU on a neutral field. Home field advantage is going to be big in this game. Iowa wasn't a great team last year, but when at Kinnick they played like a whole different team. Look for a different Iowa team on Saturday.

MAC champs are equivalent to B1G middle or low-middle class. Doubt that NIU will repeat this year, but at least they're not an FCS walkover. Those games are boring as hell and don't teach us jack crap about the team.

NIU is a Div I Conference Champion? Did I fall asleep and the 2012-2013 season is over? I could give a rats A$$ about what they did last season. IMO You got one thing right that it was the first game of the season.
