When it's all said and done we are who we thought we were. We are a very talented football team who for the most part has gotten the job done. 2/3rds through the B10 season we are tied for first, with a big showdown against OSU at home standing in the way of at least a share of the B10 title.

While I can understand the feeling we were capable of more I don't think that should override what we have done.

I always get a kick out of that stuff on sports message boards. People telling me I need to remain focused on the Hoosiers and not to think about the Ohio State game. What if I think about the bowl game?
Someone will post.. I think Iowa can expose Ohio State's defensive line and you instantly get the "we need to take it one game at a time" quotes! Like really? How do people ever buy single game tickets if they can't plan farther out than the next game? And who exactly are people who think they are the enforcer of talking about the Ohio State game before the week of it?
I think I will go start a "Iowa-Ohio St game" thread right now! Just to watch the "1 game at a time police" show up and tear me apart!

I agree with this post. We are entering November with a chance at a Big Ten title and a January bowl game. The Michigan State win really put us in the position we wanted to be in at the beginning of the season.

Like I said watching NU play MSU. This is not previous NU teams. They just do not have the overall talent they have had in recent years. Iowa SHOULD handle them easily. WILL that actually be the case is a different story.
