Is it just me, or would you rather see Iowa get a 10,11,12,13 seed than a 7,8, or 9? As for the latter your first opponent is either evenly matched and then you have the 1 or 2 seed the next round.

7 seed and 10 seed have the exact same path so that doesn't really matter. 8 or 9 yes the concensus around the barn is that you want to avoid these spots at all costs.

yea I meant rather being a 11-14 almost. Depending on the draw I guess though.

One of the worst sports memories I have. I was only 11, but that was a crushing loss that has stuck with me. I was sure we were going to win it all that year, especially at half time. I can't think about it anymore.

That would have sucked and I would have broken things but to see Iowa in the Elite Eight would be amazing. I'm still haunted by the Northwestern State game. We need to dance and erase that memory.
