I'm of the age where I barely vaguely remember him as a Hawkeye but vividly remember him with the 49ers tearing it up in the 90s. The year they won it all 94ish I think he was awesome. That secondary with Sanders, McDonald and Eric Davis was so good. Teams still picked on Sanders more then they should have. But that 9ers team was so good and had the lead so much that the other teams had to chuck it a lot. Played right into their hands.

Thanks, Rob. I just love reading these articles about Hawkeyes, since they are not "former." Once a Hawkeye, always a Hawkeye. Some of the success stories are really amazing. Many of these guys end up in leadership positions and quite a few in youth oriented professions. Keep em' coming!
