Josh Jackson - Yahoo! Sports
Uh yeah, he is the best high school basketball player I have seen in person.
I thought Clemmons/Valentine were fast when they took off when I saw them, not even close to this kid.
He is a legit 6'8" now and 205 lbs, kinda built like Kevin Durant, he didn't shoot much outside.
Play of the night was he got a steal about half court and went to the hoop. There was a guy coming to challenge him, the guy that actually inbounded the ball and looked at first like he had a chance to contest, but no it wasn't even close.
Jackson is a beast on the boards and has phenomenal handles, not just for a guy his size, but just for a player. It was amazing to watch how fast he was from point A to B when he decided to go. Jackson blocked a shot and I thought his head was going to hit the rim because he came from the weakside to terrorize the poor kid that thought he had a wide open layup.
The team his team played wasn't bad, but in the 4th quarter they let Jackson do his work and it went from a 4 point game to 15 in a hurry. The team they beat was #5 in state and had a couple guys in the same 2016 class that will be high major prospects, if and only if, they quit whining to refs all the time, very undisciplined.
Interesting to see a kid of his caliber in person.
