Watched 2nd half

About 3 times so far. I'm shocked that there isn't more excitement for that comeback. Probably 2nd best in school history after the '87 comeback at Illinois. That '87 team was pretty special by the way...as is this team!

Same here first thing this morning. Think I might watch again and maybe watch the MSU game again. I'm in full Hawkeyes hoops mode and I love it. Hope we don't have a let down vs Nebby.

To be honest, message boards are kind of dying (sad to say). Twitter was going crazy last night and today all the national guys are tweeting out props and sharing articles about it.

Nothing will beat the comeback at Michigan State after Chris Streets death IMO. That was very special considering they were down 15 with less than 5 minutes left on the road against a very good Spartan team..especially after everything they had been through.

I was going crazy in the Denver airport. I was so happy, someone came up to me and says, "sorry about the loss". I was like "what loss!!.....oh yeah the Rose Bowl" Definitely eased the disaster in Pasadena for me

I think they were down 17 with about 4:30 to go. To this day, I still have no idea how they pulled that off. It was a great comeback, made even more special by the fact of what the team had just gone through.

The Illinois game in '87 was awesome, but they had most of the 2nd half to overcome the deficit, so the MSU game is #1 in my mind.

A few others that come to mind:

'87 @Illinois (already mentioned)
1996 NCAA 1st round vs. GW (down 17-18 or so in the 2nd)
1991 @Indiana (James Moses tip in, I thought Iowa was down 16 in the second half IIRC)

Saturday's game ranks right up there IMO. Then of course the 1993 MSU game.

There has to be some others I'm forgetting but those come to mind first.

I still don't believe what I watched. Those two halves of ball couldn't have been more different. I hope we do more trapping. I thought going into half time that Purdue's 3 pt shooting had to cool off and maybe we'd have a chance cause they really weren't hurting us inside that much. I sure didn't see that happening though. It's nice to know that we can still win when both Jok and Uthoff aren't exactly having their A games on the offensive end. It's like at halftime Iowa just decided enough was enough and they were just going to do whatever it took to win. MG said get on my back and lets trap the crap out of them and lets go. It wasn't pretty but it was a thing of beauty is all I can say.

As a Hawkeye fan, I think it was pretty darn beautiful. Our length with Uthoff and Baer in the game, along with Mike or Clemmons is pretty nice when it comes to traps. I think the new rule of timeouts helps quite a bit as well.
