Tonight against Cleveland, Kansas City's starting pitcher (Kyle Davies) got hurt after giving up 2 runs and getting one out. Nate Adcock did okay, finishing the second and giving up 1 ER. In the top of the third, Mazzaro came in to pitch. His line for the outing:
2.1 IP; 11 H; 14 ER; 3 BB; 2 K; 1 HR
10 of those runs were in one inning, the 4th.
I guess if there's any consolation for him, it is that he didn't take the loss. Davies got the L.
