I hope the light goes on or the switch gets turned on for the offensive line and their coaches including KF and BF. If they can find some blocking schemes that work better for this team that will be great. It just seems that with the outside zone at least one block is missed or not reached every time they run it.
Except for Goodson I am not sure if we have a really good cutback runner with some speed for the outside zone scheme. Some people are not high on Toren Young because of his speed but he has really developed a good first cut and getting some good runs, especially the first down type runs leaving 2nd and short.
This is an above avg Iowa team with a lot of good players and could be a 9-3 team. We will see and if the running game can consistently get 100-150 yards per game. A really good defense that plays bigger than the sum of its parts. If the offense gets better it could be a very good year.
